About this cluster
Palm oil is a global staple in food, soap, and cosmetics. Despite once being the world's largest producer, Nigeria now imports because local demand exceeds supply—creating a clear opportunity for increased domestic production. This gap is your opportunity.
The demand story
Nigeria's domestic palm oil market is enormous and unsatisfied. Market women, restaurants, food factories, and cosmetics producers all need reliable supply. When you plant palm at Aroko, you are not only betting on export prices—you are tapping into a deep domestic market that keeps growing.
Double the revenue stream
Palm trees are uniquely generous. Fresh fruit bunches (FFB) yield crude palm oil—our primary revenue. Every bunch also contains palm kernels, which yield separate premium products for cosmetics and industry. At peak, kernel-related income can add up to ₦70,000 per acre annually. Palm kernel upside is not included in base projections.
